So I'm stuck between two microphones..

In one corner there is..

Zalman ZM-Mic 1 for around $10 CAD

In the next corner there is..

Antlion Mod mic muted for around $55 CAD

Which one would you guys pick over the other and why? I'm mainly gaming, and on skype. If there are any other suggestions feel free to leave them below. I currently use the HD518 headphones, and want a mic.

Also might want to get a dac or amp.. any suggestions? Don't want to break the bank..

You wouldn't need a DAC/AMP it would literally do nothing with that, on board is more than good for that, also I would prefer the mod mic it's better out of the two. However I would prefer a blue yetti/snowball if you already have those nice headphones instead of a mod mic.

So a dac or amp won't be needed for listening to music and stuff? Or did you mean the HD518 wouldn't benefit from it?

I meant the HD518 wouldn't benefit from it unfortunately unless your on board is staticy or making weird noises/failing you, you wouldn't see any benfit. On the other hand if you had some nicer headphones in the $300+ type category you would benefit from a DAC/AMP in sound quality in my opinion. :)
