Usually occurs when it is getting too hot. Check the temps. Try to clean the components. My even try to prevent some Overclocks.

If you go under the hood won't that void the warranty on the computer?

Nope, but if you mod something that voids your warranty, like an overclock, then you do.

What about ram upgrade and hard drive upgrade won't that void the warranty?
