So I used to have an iPhone 6 plus however I decided to be a part of the PC master race therefore in order to afford the parts for my PC, I sold it hence why I am out of a phone currently (week now).

I am looking for a replacement now, I don't mind the operating system since I am familiar with both.  I want it to be affordable since I (A student) am not in a good financial position due to already having spent £862.84 or $1323.73 USD in PC building. So suggest me a suitable affordable device that has good specs.

Heyyo,

Hmm, do you plan to get a phone ON contract or OFF contract?

On contract? Sony Xperia Z1. Usually these days? She's $0 on contract and she's still a solid device with the SnapDragon 800 SoC. Plus? Water and dust proof... gotta love that. Sony Xperia is easily the most underrated Android phones. :)

Otherwise? If you can get a Nexus 5? It's also still a very solid performer on conract and is usually $0 or $50 on contract depending on the size of the memory... if you can still find one that is.

Off contract? The Motorolla Moto G is a very solid off-contract offering. It's not fancy by any means but it'll get the job done very well for its price.

[EDIT1]

HOLY CRAP! Asus Zenfone 2 might be coming to North America sooner than later!!! :o

If you want something will a little more power and don't mind Chinese phones? sites like www.coolicool.com/ you can import a decent Android phone for dirt cheap for their specs as well... but you might not get LTE. Even without LTE? They tend to offer Quad Band 3G (defitiely make sure any phone you order has quad band 3G) and you can still get HSPA which is very snappy. I recommend the Ulefone Be Touch. It's very cost effective and even features a stock Android build. It's not much of a markup compared to the Motorolla Moto G but you get a lot more hardware. ;)
