I just watched Linus's scrapyard wars series (I know I'm late) and I really enjoyed it.

I was just pretty curious, so I searched up 3dmark scores for both of Linus's and Luke's CPU/GPU combos.

I was pretty surprised that in Fire Strike, they were basically tied. Oh yeah, i searched up even though it was in the video since their ram was kinda limiting their performance probably

But I guess in gaming, bottlenecking simply just ruins the performance.

not ram.

CPU for Luke

GPU for Linus

This

Most games don't rely on super speed fancy flashing DDR4 Ram overclocked for maximum gigaspeeds

(thats clearly a joke)

4gb of DDR2 usually does the trick for just about all games

Scrapyard Build Total Cost: $268AUD

C2Q E8200 | 4 x 1gb DDR2 | GA-EP45-DS3 r1 | Gammax 200 | 320gb 2.5" | 7870LE PCS | Litepower 500w | CISCO Aironet 350
