So I have the choice to get a Reservoir & Pump in a combo when I get water-cooling or get it seperately.

P.S I will only be cooling my CPU for now and maybe get a single GPU down the line and cool that also.

Seperate Parts

Phobya Balancer 250 Silver Nickel Reservoir (£29)

12V Phobya DC12-400 Pump (EK-DCP 4.0) 2x G1/4 Threads (£35)

Total: £64

Reservoir & Pump Combo

EK-DCP 4.0 PWM X-RES (incl. 12V pump)

Total: £71.40

With the top choice I can get a bigger reservoir as well as its cheaper, the pumps are the same. The only thing is since I am new to water-cooling I wouldn't know what compressions, fittings, etc I would need for seperate parts..

Water Block

Ek Water Block Supremacy MX

Total: £34.56

The radiator I am going to get a XSPC or AlphaCool, some good brand around the £20-40 range, I just need to know what else I need to make this work besides from choosing between the two choices written above. The fittings, etc help! Thanks.

If you go for a separate pump/res you will need 2 more fittings which cost about 5-10 each, depending on what fittings you buy. The only other reason to choose either is looks or space. If you can fit both then choose what you think looks better. Personally I prefer res/pump combos becasue that makes it easier to install, 1 part rather than 2 screwed into my case, and for me it was a space issue as well.
