help appreciated hdd issues

Make sure the SSD is first in the boot order in the BIOS. Also select the HDD as a second boot device.

I just installed a copy of windows onto a new ssd and when i turned it off to plug in my hdd it wouldnt boot. It turned on but nothing on screen. It worked after i disconnevted the hdd. Would this happen to have anything to do with whats already on the hdd

Go BIOS and select the SSD to be priority / first boot. Should solve the issue.
