Computer wont connect

I downloaded some stuff to help my video edits and recording and then went and rendered and edited everything and now i cant connect to the internet for some reason.

I tried restarting my router and unplugged my ethernet and plugged it back in. Now i cant conmect.

I scanned my pc with malwarebytes and my virus protection (panda antivirus) and there was only one thing and i deleted it.

I know my craptop sometimes looses connection and the only way to get it back is a restart.

Yes other devices are connected (my phone and laptop) and yes i tried restarting it

and once done...you might wanna try resetting your network settings to defaults

obviously something is screwy

 

on a side note...if you have a laptop..hook it up to the same ethernet cable and see if the internet work on it

the its your computer..and probably a virus...nasty virus

something quick you can check...check device manager and make sure the network driver is installed....and its the correct one...

I dont see how my virus protectors didnt see it. I have 2 seperate ones running.

Is there a way to remove it? This is a brand new PC

Ok i am worried now,

My laptop wont go on the internet either, my phone is workings,

I got a message that says on chrome browser "this webpage is not available"

And under it

"DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN"

check you ipv4 settings on the Ethernet adapter, DNS servers appear to be the issue. Change your primary to 8.8.8.8 then do a "ipconfig /flushdns" from an elevated command prompt (right click -> run as administrator).

 

If you want you can also change your secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4

 

While you are there, you can check you IP addess, subnet mask and gateway are also correct (or just tell it to get these things automatically if your modem does DHCP).

 

Also, this is very unlikely to be related in anyway to a virus.
