Not sure what video card to get, been looking at the gtx 970, but is kind of a high price so I don't know if it is worth it. I will have a 144hz/ 1080p monitor so I want a card that can support 60+ frames. I usually play csgo and I get a lot of smoke lag, so i wouldn't want that. I want to play bf4 or crysis 3 in ultra if possible BUT if i can run on high for 60+ frames I am happy too. Also no screen tearing would be nice, but mostly I am a casual gamer. Also can you pick a cpu and mobo too for me that won't bottleneck the GPU without me overclocking. My budget is $500-$600.

At 1080p, the 970/290X will be the same. Get whichever is cheaper.

CPU: G3258 @ 4GHz GPU: Gigabyte GTX 960 OC RAM: 8GB G.Skill DDR3 1600 SSD: Corsair LS 120GB Case: Antec GX500 Mouse: Logitech G402 Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Headphones: Shure SRH440 Microphone: That Zalman Zm-Mic1 that everyone recommends but noone uses

Remember when the R9 280 was the HD 7950? Pepperidge Farm remembers.
