Raid 1 program?

Is there a windows (I’m running windows 7) program that will let me set up raid 1 with a 3tb drive mirrored to 2x1tb + 2 x 500 GB? Essentially 3tb mirrored to 3tb but more than just 2 drives. I have not tried this yet but would creating a new volume that is all the smaller drives together and then mirroring it onto the 3tb drive work? If 1 drive failed on the combo volume could I replace it without having to erase all the drives in that volume and reformatting to get raid going again?

Also, any program recommendations that let me set a time to backup files on my OS to my raid 1 setup?

Should be part of your Mobo SATA Controller software, check your mobo vendor's website for the RAID app.
