so i bought CSGO from g2a.com and when i try to reedem the key i get this message:

"Oops, sorry!

An error was encountered while processing your request:
There was a problem redeeming the gift. Please try again later, or contact Steam Support for assistance."
 
anything i could do?
or should i just click on g2a "invalid key" ?
and what then?will they just give me another key or will i have to wait for live support or what?

Contact Steam first so they can verify if the gift/key is invalid. Hopefully it will be email or something in writing on-screen so you can take a screenshot and submit it to g2a and request a new key.

 

It happens!

Well it's an invalid key shouldn't you click "invalid key:....

Steam can't do anything with third party key sales. Did you get the G2A invalid key insurance?

They should give you a new key. Also mark this as solved unless you don't hear a response within the next few days.

You're rushing this.

 

Did Steam respond back to you? Why did you click invalid key just yet? You have no proof other than it didn't work. The software told you to contact Steam. You did that. Steam hasn't responded yet.

 

Settle!

 

Last time this happened to me it took about 2 days to resolve. Most likely, you won't have a working key by the end of the day, but very likely by the weekend.

but i saw in steam there was some connection problems and other stuff ,so i dont know maybe it will be fixed tomorrow (i also couldnt connect into my inventory, so i restarted steam and couldnt log in)

also if i only put in this

 https :// store steampowered com /account/ ackgif (without all the numbers and stuff)

i get the same massage

 

and for g2a , im only waiting for seller response

Then you are totally on top of it. Did you send a screenshot of Steam's response with your g2a claim?

i have to first wait for the seller to respond within 3 days,if he doesnt, i have to deal with g2a support team

I have exactly the same problem. I also bought the key from g2a. I sent a ticket to steam and g2a support. I'm gonna wait 1-2 more days and chargeback with Paypal unless the seller responds on g2a.

 

Also for anyone thinking to buy from that site, do not. It's not worth the hassle for the small saving in money.
