1400 dollars and you're using a 260x, 1300 dollars and a 750ti.

Both are not very good.  And you don't have after market CPU cooler for the 4790k.  Yikes.

PC 1 : 60%

PC 2 : 75%

PC 1 has absolutely ZERO upgradeability with a 300w PSU.

PC 2 has higher refresh rate monitors that the 260x will never be able to reach, but at least it can be upgraded.

Noone is particulary good, the i7 should be an i5 and instead of the "weak" gpu get something like a  gtx 960 and the system with 16gb of ram on 4 sticks should probably be on two since then ypu can upgrade to 32 gb later on plus its usally cheaper to buy fewer sticks (not always) And two 144Hz screens are also usally not a good idea since you only game on one..It works if it is three 144Hz but i can't see the point of two on the same system. And remove parts like the k95 and invest in a ssd instead. The K95 RGB is mostly usless bling that you could spend on a fatser pc

I'm not gonna give a percentage, but i'm gonna give my thoughts on both of em:

PC 1:An I7 and 750ti are not really best brothers. What I am trying to say is that i7 are mostly overkill for gaming.

And the 750Ti is not that new of a card anymore. It may well suffer in eg GTA, running 2 displays.

15% of your budget is geared towards a keyboard! Invest into your gpu before thinking of peripherals.

That's kinda getting close on that PSU. Especially with overclocking ready components as your cpu and motherboard.

PC 2: Filling up all your ram slots, causes you to not be able to upgrade later.

2 144 hz panels on a gpu that maybe barely drives one 1080 p at 60 hz in games at ultra. Spend the money you save from those 144hz panels on a better gpu.

Once again, same point as in PC1: High end cpu paired with a mediocre graphics solution. (And that's expected to drive 2 144 hz panels????? Forget it.)

Rate over all, price, also more points for the keyboard or anything else just rate it including the accessories.

Why would the keyboard "boost" your configuration's appeal? What is the point in having a colourfull desk when your games run at 40 fps on lower settings?

Fyi, a colourfull desk can be achieved in a simple way: Go to a simple store, and buy an rgb led strip. Plug in and you have fancy lights wherever you want them to.

They are both bad. Even this is better, and it is not that good for the price. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8f2XGX

PC1: has got it right with the dual channel memory but 8GB isn't needed, especially with such GPUS.

It's better to go I5 4690K and maybe even fit a cooler in it.

The power supply wattage is way too low on the first pc, you could easily fit in an R9 280X/290(/if you get it right maybe even a 290X/ GTX 970) in that 1400 dollar budget.

PC2: I don't like the GPU on the PC2 since you spend too much on your cpu and ram. The case is almost as expensive as your GPU, come on...

Also, you might want to get a slightly higher wattage if you go 290x orso.

Dropping one monitor for a better graphics card/build is worth it in my opinion, especially since you can buy them later, getting a 2nd power supply or a new gpu/cpu because you really cheaped out on it is throwing away money. Also, don't cheap out on PSUs, they can ruin your pc :P

EDIT: Didn't see that keyboard, god save me...

In my opinion, both of them aren't perfect. I'm assuming they're both for productivity (they'd both be relatively horrible for gaming), here is my ratings with explanations as to why I rated them as such.

Build 1 (6/10):

  • Stock cooler
  • No dual channel kit
  • Spent far too much on the case to justify the other shortcomings in the build
  • That PSU allows for next to no expansion
  • Why a gaming keyboard in a productivity build?

Build 2 (7.5/10):

  • Stock cooler
  • Two 2x4GB kits limits expandability. I can't think of any reason you'd want to do that over a 2x8GB kit on a dual channel board.
  • The PSU isn't even 80+ bronze in a $1300 build
  • I don't see the reason behind two 144hz monitors in a productivity build.

I don't mean to be harsh, and again, this is just my opinion. Here's a build I'd recommend for that price point and purpose:

These setups are all fluff and no substance.  The fluff isn't even that great either.  You can do much better with that budget from a pure performance standpoint.
