Paypal Verification

I have decided to finally make a paypal account. Once i added my bank, it requires some sort of verification. All it currently says on paypal is "checking". I have not received any funds to my bank account. How exactly does this process work (video of the process would be ideal)?

Takes a penny from your bank account, the transaction has a 4 digit code which you put into paypal then they refund you the penny.

Depends on your bank mine took a couple days but my friend had his come through instantly.

When I registered, quite some time ago, PayPal added 2 transactions of less than €1 to my bank account and I had to fill those amounts into PayPal. It took some days for the funds to arrive, though, so be patient.

Yep, when I signed up many years ago it took about a day or so. It's normal - usually depends on the speed of your bank.
