SSD Speeds

So I bought hyperx fury ssd 240GB and I am getting these results, and I thought I will get a little bit more ~450mb+. Maybe my sata data cable is old or something? I have GA-970A-DS3P (rev. 1.0) MB

make sure you plugged it into the right sata port, often times some of them will have a slower rated speed than others

Tried Sata 0,1,3. Same results.

The drive is in IDE mode, it needs to be in AHCI mode for optimal performance. That's why AS SSD is saying "pciide - BAD" in red letters.

 

Bear in mind you can't just switch if Windows is installed on the SSD, you first have to edit the registry.

As @Sakkura pointed out, the software indicates that the SSD is in IDE mode. You should reinstall the OS after you swap the drive in AHCI mode. This should fix the problem. There is also a way to do it from the registry, but that involves a certain amount of risk.
