cmos battery

hi having problems with my cmos battery dying all the time. bought my pc 1,5 years ago. After a year the battery  died for the first time and after that it just have continued to die on me like 4 time and last time it only held for 1,5- 2 weeks is there any one who knows what is causing this.useing a Asus ROG Hero VI if its to any help. help is much appreciated

Have you replaced it every single time?

If not, try that...

If yes: maybe something is touching the reset?

There is a jumper/button on each and every motherboard capable of clearing CMOS, something(one) might be touching it...

If its so constant, I would try to get new board while its still under warranty. Usually CMOS batteries last 5-10 years easily.
