Hardline build help

Go to solution Solved by ForsakenLive,

I've seen several radiator configs in H440s, but I think the ones that look less cluttered use no more than a 360mm + 240mm.

You can fit dual 360mm radiators, but it seems to be tricky to work with; if you really want to work in there, go ahead. You can also use 280mm ones, but that does take more space and clearance is reduced.

I'd go with a front 360mm rad and a top 240mm. A good looking multi-port tube res, a D5 pump, Primochill's PETG tubbing and Primochill rigid compression fittings. Look for what blocks are more aesthetically pleasing to you, the temperature results between them don't very that much.

900 USD for all that?

Or do you own some of the parts already?

The H440 is so popular I still have this pulled up on my browser.

Radiator support:

Front - 2 x 140 or 3 x 120mm
Top - 2 x 140 or 3 x 120mm
Rear - 1 x 140/120mm

You are going to want at least 4 x 120mm of radiator space, so a front 240mm and top 240mm, or you could go with both 280mm as they would fit. If you put a 360mm in the top or front you probably can't fit another 360mm in the top/front, and someone in another thread said that also limits your drive space. I would reccomend going for any Laing D5 pump, they often come as rebrands such as XSPC and EKWB, etc. Pick any compatable waterblocks that you like the look/price of for your GPUs and CPU, as well as hardline compression fittings and the PETG or acrylic tube of the same size. Get a sliver kill-coil, and some distilled water from your local grocery store. It may be harder to stay in budget with hardline if you choose to use fittings instead of bending the tubing.

@Nineshadow, I think he means $900 for the loop itself, as 2 980's are way more than 900 by themselves.

Yeah, exactly what crossed my mind.

Just making sure.
