MSI Z97 PC Mate question

Hi all, 

 

I've read that the MSI Z97 PC Mate doesn't support CPU-based graphics but there is an DVI, VGA AND HDMI port on the mobo. 

 

How does this work?

  Yeah it would be stupid to include ports but not support for it.

It should be able to. If u're not sure, get asrock anniversary, I push my 4690k on it up to 4.8ghz easily.

I think that just means it doesnt have its own chip

see if your budget allows for a sli krait

The sli krait is out of my budget. I was going to go for the Gigabyte z97p-D3 at first but then I saw that the PC Mate has a better Power Phase design for about € 10 more.

If I would take a more expensive mobo I think I'll go for the Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3 or the MSI Z97S SLI Plus

The Asrock anniversary is an all around worse board. 

Lol, at such low price it can easily handle all necessary overclocking, the bios setup is also good.
