What is when pcie is 16x and when pcie is 1x and when is 3.0 and when is 2.0. I wanna know which of these is putting a graphic cards and how many NVIDIA graphic crads can i put into it. I wanna too put one USB 3.1 asrock module (when it be released) and I don´t know into which of pcie I can put it. How many RAM pieces can i put into it? Is lot of things so I be very happy if you solve all my answers. Thanks.

PCIe comes in the following speeds x1, x4, x8 or x16, there is also x12 and x32 but i can't really remember where they fall in ATM. PCIe x16 = the speed/width of the PCIe lane and comes in Gen 1, 2 & 3 Most motherboards have at least one PCIe x16 slot and other mid-high end motherboards will have 2, 3 or even 4 PCIe x16 slots. When you do SLI or CrossX you can have 2GPUs at x16x16 or x8x8 or x16 x8 this is motherboard dependent. You want to put the GPU in the x16 PCIe slot which is almost always the first PCIe slot after the CPU slot, the motherboard's manual will also tell you which slot it is and the speeds of each slot.

 

The USB 3.1 should be on the newer motherboards natively so you won't have to connect anything to a PCIe slot. MSI already has 12 motherboards out supporting usb 3.1.

 

The RAM sticks, AKA pieces, are determined by which chipset and motherboard form factor you buy. If you buy a motherboard with 4 DIMMS then you need 1 - 4 sticks of RAM, if you have 8 DIMMS then you need 2 to 8 sticks of RAM and if you 2 DIMMS then you need 1 - 2 sticks of RAM. Something else to consider with RAM is the speed, frequency and voltage of the different RAM sticks, they should be the same for stability.

Yes and a lot. I don´t how to thank you. but I have one question. i don´t buy this motherboard but I wanna buy it and ASrock says they will release edition with USB 3.1 but my - ASrock EXTREME6 will have it on board as they say here: http://www.asrock.com/feature/USB3.1/index.html

Regarding the RAM..... the USB 3.1 add in card will have nothing to do with the amount of RAM you will need or can have, it is the chipset you choose, budget and preference which will determine how much sticks of RAM you can/will have. 

 

Regarding the GPU....this also depends on the motherboard to know how many GPUs you can use and at what speed they will be in either SLI or CrossX. Once you have the money and your motherboard has support for it,0 you can populate all the RAM DIMMS and still have 2 or more GPUs.

 

This link is in IMO a bit of misleading advertisement to a person who does not have much experience with building PCs. If you scroll to the bottom of the link you provided you will see a chart explaining which USB 3.1 card goes with which motherboard and it would depend on which motherboard you buy or have to know which USB 3.1 add in card you will get or should buy. You keep mentioning the AsRock Extreme6 but what you are not saying is which platform your want. There is an Extreme6 on Z97 and on X99, these are two different chipsets and they have different USB 3.1 add on cards. This is the chart i am talking about....

i think if its not better buy extreme9 and buy the USB 3.1 card, then how many gpus i can put into it?

Its Z97. Please say, I don´t have much  time, how many gpus can I put into that system with USB 3.1 card and how many ram sticks can I put into it (I think 4, right?)

In the Extreme6 you could do 2 GPUs with the configuration of PCIe 3.0 x16 and still use the USB 3.1 card in the PCIe2.0 slot.
