No you can't, and even if you could it would be a terrible decision.

If it has an Intel i5k or Intel i7k it could overclock, provided the motherboard supported it. Macbook Pros use Core i5-U, i7-U, i5-M and i7-M CPUs, Overclocking is not possible at all. Not even 3.0.

It's Apple, you can't even properly upgrade it. OC is a no no with Apple.

Your games will run faster if you lower the settings (optimize them), I suggest you get an optimizer.

I don't know how it is with apple, but if you have an nVIDIA or AMD GPU inside you can get their software (GeForce Experience / Gaming Evolved) and optimize your games there.

Also another thing is, when you are playing, turn off all other programs that eat your cpu and gpu power, such as recording software for example.

anymore suggestions to get my games run faster without overclocking

I believe you can add ram and/or change drive but thats about it. Oh, wait you are talking about LAPTOP. Nope, get something real, like desktop and we can talk about it.

It already throttles at stock clocks. Don't do it.

You could overclock the dedicated GPU in Windows using Afterburner if you really wanted to, but again, it makes no difference because it'll overheat and slow down automatically anyway.

The only Intel macs that the CPU could be overclocked in were the early Mac Pros. There exists an OSX too for that.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.
