I use a nice sharp scissor then sand it. Make sure your scissor is sharp bc if you have to cut more than once then it gets ugly and you DONT want that

what should i cut my hardline tubing on

 

Using a fine tooth metal hacksaw blade is good, inside of a miter box if you have one to get nice square edges, and be sure to chamfer the edges after cutting.

You can't cut hardline with a sharp pair of scissors, soft tube it works great however.
