So I had a little bit of water fall into my computer today. The computer shut itself off and then I went looking through the computer. So the only water I could find that actually made it into the computer was a little drop on the power connector that goes to one of the fans of a Corsair H100i. I dried that off and then let a fan blow into the computer for a few hours. So then I decided to go ahead and try out rebooting the system. What is happening now is it starts to turn on, as in the fans start up and the lights to the video card and CPU cooler turn on, then it turns off after like half a second. My question is do you think the problem is that the CPU cooler is dead or do you think something else happened that I didn't see.

Did the water come from the H100i?  Corsair supposedly has very good customer service, I would file a claim with them ASAP.

A few hours is not enough time to let it dry, give it a few days.

No it was from outside the computer.

The thing is I couldn't actually find any other water anywhere.
