Yes, another GTA V problem.

So, I have been trying to grind GTA V, but I can't because.....

my CPU Usage tends to be very high, like 2 cores (out of the four) being up to 100% in usage.

While my GPU goes around 50-60% usage during this.

On average, my CPU cores goes up to 95% usage each.

Is this normal? My specs meet the recommended specs for gta v

CPU: Intel i5 4690K @ 3.5ghz

GPU: GTX 770 2GB

RAM: 8GB 1600mhz

If it's not normal, is there anything I could try to help this?

I've not messed around with the game yet - thats for after my IB Finals next month. But it could be that GTA V is CPU heavy as well, quite a few games are. I'd think nothing of it to be honest.

It's ok, I also have 100% load on any cpu (2500, 4690k).

Just deal with it.

Extended View distance loads the CPU up more in GTA5, I turned mine down to get 60-95% usage, hardly ever hitting 95+ at all now.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
