They are all good.  Even that PNY Blower thingy.

I'd go for the Zotac Amp! Extreme! but that thing costs $400...  Consequently is is great :)

Otherwise, the G1 gaming or Strix.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

anyone had any experience with this gigabyte card? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125685

That's the normal one without all the bling bling of the G1 (No backplate etc...). You may not achieve the clock speeds of the G1 with this card...

but it still runs cool like other windforce cards :>

Well.... worth it or not would have to depend on you... The msi one runs quieter than the G1 card but will be a little warmer.

The G1 card is binned ( means card can overclock better) but that still ultimately depends on silicon lottery. Both have the same 6+8pin

power design. The Msi card comes without a backplate but the G1 has a backplate. Oh yes and both have LEDs

That is the windforce card, I'd recommend the G1 Gaming over it, as the G1 Gaming is binned, has a backplate, and has an LED logo.

I own the G1 Gaming and absolutely love it.

G1 Gaming

Msi Twin Frozr or Gigabyte G1

gigabyte gaming g1 is known for its speed, cooling, and silence.

i live in Canada so the prices are different.  The Asus is $450, Gigabyte G1 $492, MSI $490, Evga $450, These prices are just from NCIX so I could find cheaper prices but I'm wondering should I get the cheapest one or even thought the price differents, it's worth getting one over the other?

Ah the choices. I haven't been paying to much attention to graphic cards lately. I'm trying to decide if having it binned is worth the 50 dollars more.

Narrowed it down to two. Curious what others picks would be based on that.

MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G $324

GIGABYTE N970WF3OC $318

Between the Msi one and the Windforce one, I'd pick the Msi card.

Gigabyte has the best VRM cooling out of all so if you are overclocking especially adding voltage it would be the best of 3.

It also has the highest power limit which prevents it from throttling

Yeah, we're all just a bunch of idiots experiencing nothing more than the placebo effect.

I am leaning that way as well because the size of the windforce. I would be SOL if I ever wanted to move the card to an ITX system with the windforce. I been running a MSI N660 TF 2GD5/OC so it is about time for an upgrade.

EVGA has good support and offers no restrictions on overclocking , as far as i know with SC/ACX and up, But their overall power design is not as efficient  as Asus' s or MSI  .

Note: I  am Using an EVGA GTX 780 SC ACX which has a similar cooler design as their GTX 970 ACX coolers, or so  i have read once upon a time.
