laptop upgrades

so i got my friend bf4 so he can play with me, it was on sale for a very cheap price. his laptop is shit when it comes to running and i told him to be on the lowest settings in everything. the problem is that he needs a better gpu, the laptop gpu sucks. so is it possible to upgrade a laptop gpu? 

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

For 99% of laptops on the market, no. The GPU core is almost always soldered to the motherboard.

I've built 3 PC's, but none for myself... In fact, I'm using an iMac that my dad bought for me as my desktop. Awkward...

Please don't say "SSD drive." By doing so, you are literally saying "Solid State Drive Drive" and causing my brain cells to commit suicide. The same applies to HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express).

if only all high end laptops had the same modding capabilities of that MSI mechanical laptop thingy.

people buy laptops for mobility....buying one for gaming on...is pretty dumb

after 5 years....you generally have to either replace the laptop or replace the battery
