Sounds good, just remember the overclock will be smaller with that cooler

i think he should still get up 2 4.2ghz if doesnt get a terrible chip and if he get a really good OCer he could get up 2 4.6ghz with less than 80C

That may be so but it will definitely run hotter than an h100i

For sure i would recommend checking out the ASUS GRYPHON Z87 m-atx m/board, its beast.. and the armor kit for it.

Have you also looked at the seagate hybrid drives? you can get them in 1 TB and the best of both worlds if you intend just to use one drive. (SSHD)

and to save some money, i don't think you need a seperate sound card if you get a half decent m/board they come with good onboard sound nowadays.

got to love Asus components

I think that that case is horrible and he likely wants a K CPU, and he doesnt need a soundcard that bad,

How the case is horrible? It's small and looks sleek imo. Also, I don't see much of a reason to get a K cpu. A 3rd or 4th gen non-K cpu has no problem pushing 2 770's in sli.

As an oveclopcker myself, it's cool but the performance difference isn't noticeable if you don't need the processing power.

The OP never mentioned their sound setup so we don't know whether or not he needs a sound card.

Read the reviews on the case, I have read it`s a hit or miss for working usb ports

Read the reviews on the case, I have read it`s a hit or miss for working usb ports

I've read all the reviews from amazon and newegg and none have complained about usb ports not working.

The main complaint was the cable management when not using a modular psu since the case was small.

Corsair H60 as cooler and 8 GB of Corsair for memory, is ok??

The brand of the ram doesn't really matter. Ram is ram.

Only get the H60 for looks and not for cooling. If you're going for an AIO cooler, don't go lower than a H80i.
