ADSL and bonded

Go to solution Solved by DrShiba,

They basically make multiple ADSL connections. When you upload something, it splits your file up, so your file will be sent over multiple ADSL connections. Your file will then be combined at the datacenter.

With normal ADSL:

File -> ADSL -> Datacenter.

With bonded ADSL:

File -> ADSL -> Part of file -> Datacenter

           ADSL -> Part of file -> Datacenter

           ADSL -> Part of file -> Datacenter

Better up- and download speeds.

Thanks. Another question. My speeds are 25 Mbps download. 1 Mbps upload. How does the bonded portion make my speeds on upload faster? Honestly, 1 Mbps is awful slow IMO. My IPS caps me at that.

OK, so even though its only 1 Mbps, it will break up the 2, theoretically doubling the speed because its broken up over the 2 lines. Correct?
