Winodows File Sharing

So... At the moment i have my gaming system (PC) and my Laptop and want to sync some folders via both (Game dir in the My Docs folders like euro truck saves) i know about the windows folder sharing but not too sure how to setup thanks for your help!

Right-click folder > Properties > sharing (click the advanced sharing button) > tick the share this folder box and then in the permissions button add the聽

'everyone' group and allow full control and you're done! :).

To find the folder on another computer within your network type into any windows explorer bar '\\IP OF PC'.聽

any way to have it auto sync like dropbox / google drive (i have too much space for using these services

They stay sync'd. As soon as you delete something in the folder its gone and this is replicated throughout the other computers with connections to that share as its only sharing that folder. Not sharing a copy.
