NBA 2K15 no sound

alexnt
Go to solution Solved by alexnt,

I installed splinter cell blacklist and the game installed directx as well. I have sound in both games now. Although I installed dx9 saperately something was missing and it was fixed by the installation of dx from the other game.

Thank you for the replies.

What the title says. I have windows 8.1 pro.

I ve tried disabling amd hd audio. No luck.

Reinstalled the game. No luck.

Installed dx9. No luck.

Run game in windows 7 compatibility mode. No luck.

I saw on another forum that enabling stereo mix in recording devices might help but i dont want to plug headphones on mic in front panel to have sound.

I had no issues in windows 7.

Have you looked through every single option in the settings for the game, the launcher and windows to see if there is any thing?

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

There is no option for sound in game. If you mean the shortcut as launcher there is no sound option in properties. I m installing another game now to test sound. I m thinking to uninstall amd hd audio because it may conflict with realtek.

Really no option to control in game audio levels. That's very weird.

I found some options about music and commentary but nothing changes.
