You will probaly have a hard time finding a PC with all of those specs. I would recommend I would recommend the Asus Zenbook: http://ncix.com/products/?sku=77128&vpn=UX31A-DH71-CA&manufacture=ASUS&promoid=1337, but it only have 4GB of RAM and 256GB of storage

Edit: Does it have to be a ultrabook or is the 13 inch Apple Macbook Air something ? http://store.apple.com/us/configure/MD761LL/A? (I will probably be crucified by the forum now)

Currently I'm running a virus scan, have 3 youtube tabs, a ad heavy tab and Powerpoint open and I only use 2.36GB of RAM. Unless the laptop is meant to edit photos and video or playing games on 4GB is enough

MacBook air would suit her well I believe. I'm assuming it's going to be for browsing the web, word processing, and maybe light editing. If she's going to be doing any real editing or real gaming then an ultraportable probably won't do her needs justice. For general uni use and ultra thin would be great and at the moment the Air is the best one available.

Try the Acer Aspire S7-392. Make sure you look at the 392, because that is the refreshed Haswell version. There are options for a Core i5 and Core i7 (but the i7 is a bit over budget)

Problem with that is the small storage 128g isnt that much. Her sims games will take up 40gb the os probably another 30 im guessing atleast and then add the other little things that a non techie has.I would say external HDD but since shes NON TECHY Hard Core it would just not be a good idea.
