Silence is key

Go to solution Solved by simson0606,

for the cpu cooler you could go with the noctua nh-u12s, i have that one and it is silent

i don't know if that psu is noisy at all, and i cannot judge the hdd as well, the rest is a good choice

Hi yall, I am looking for recommendations for a build i am going to be making  when i save the cash.

I would like it to be as quite as possible without spending 3 grand for total silent. I am going to be getting into 3d modeling and graphic design work as well as some games that I want to test out. Please help me if you see anything that needs changed then please tell me and have a good Earth Day.

Anyhow, the Fractal design R4/R5 cases do a good job at isolation noise, there are some beQuiet ones as well.

You could get a graphics card that can shut down it's fans when not under load. E.g the Asus GTX 9xx strix.

For a cpu cooler take a trusted brand, maybe look up some reviews. I really like the Hyper 212 EVO for it's price :P You can change out the fan to a more silent fan if you desire so. Just make sure it fits the clips.

If you cange the fan on the Hyper 212 Evo you can get a premium cooler in the first place. I'd recommend a bequiet! or a noctua one.

ASUS ROG Strix B550-F + AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; ASUS 6800XT TUF; 16GB G.Skill TridentZ 3600; bequiet! Dark Power 13 850W; Samsung 860 Pro M.2 2TB; PHANTEKS Evolve X

Considering the price, I'd suggest getting the cheaper Pure Rock instead: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/be-quiet-cpu-cooler-bk009

It doesn't perform as well as the NH-U12S but it's still better than the 212 Evo.
