CPU issue

Hi, I'll start telling you that i'm italian so my english will not be pretty fine.

I've a not bad machine:

CPU: i5 4670k

RAM: 16Gb of DDR3 Corsair memory

GPU: R9 295X2

PSU: OCZ 1250W ZX series

OS: w8.1 pro installed on a raid 0 of two 120GB SSDs

CPU cooler: Corsair H55

 

Everything works fine on the sistem but while I'm playing GTAV the CPU usage is costantly at 100% and all the usage is made by GTAV application (checked on task manager) so this stress to the CPU causes many frame drops ingame. I'm playing on a 1920x1080 monitor and in certain moments frame rate drops to 30, 20 and sometimes 15 or less.

That's any way to know it the problem is caused by software or hardware and if hardware, that's a way to know if this issue is made by cpu or maybe mb?

(I recently reinstalled OS and i had this GTAV issue both before and now)

Did you get the new AMD catalyst driver?

I've the latest beta driver: 15.4

I had the same issue with the omega driver 14.12

Did you install all Windows updates? Try closing the GTA 5 launcher after you load the game I hear it has a big hit to CPU conformance. Also is the game installed on a SSD?

Have you updated the Graphics driver, and optimized the game for performance?

Also, this frame drop problem is known within the GTAV community. You should follow it to see how things turn out.

I've installed all windows updates and latest AMD beta drivers as well but nothing changed.

The CPU usage is all made by GTAV application and not by the launcher, I checked this before because I reed in internet of a similar issue but player writing on internet about this issue have all a dual core CPU only so it's not my case.

I've only the OS and drivers on SSDs, GTA is on a secondary hard disk
