2. Z97 is better and same price

3. GSkill or corsair memory is cheaper and more trustworthy

4. thats a really overpriced SSD, you can get a 256 GB 850 EVO for same price

5. get the 280x or increase to 970

6. get a 750W PSU for future proofing, theres an EVGA 80+ gold full mod for $85 right now

7. why is windows so expensive, its $90 on microsofts website.

Looks pretty good, though I'd go for a little higher wattage power supply for later upgrades, 600w should be fine.

Yes its fine to go with AMD, and they are not going out of business (yet), they are just not doing as well as nvidia. (or intel)

Last time I checked the 256GB 850 evo was about $40 more expensive.

And they are not in america, they are in Australia.

i'd get a better power supply. the card alone require 500w look here: http://www.msi.com/product/vga/R9-280X-GAMING-3G.html#hero-specification

it recommends 500w, but no way the tdp is 500w , you can run a titan on 500 watts.

but seriously, I5 4690k is still better and only slightly more, and Z97 is worth it.

Do you know what an Australian dollar is?

1. No its not, its better not no way cheaper.

3. probably around the same price, not too much more trust worthy, ram doesnt fail often

5. more performance is obviously more $$.

6. depends on if he wants upgradability, but I would generally agree

Also, not to mention, kingston ram is still very reliable, and overall, ram is ram.
