$1 mouse pads

Nex_Ultionis

Artscow is having a deal again for $1 mouse pads and free shipping (world wide). I was skeptical at first when I saw this deal years ago but I decided to go for it after seeing so many other's successful purchases.

The only caveats to this are that you have to pay though PayPal and shipping takes like 2-3 weeks (worth it imo).

The steps in this image show how to get the mousepad, and as it points out you lose a fair bit of brightness and contrast from the original image; so take that into consideration when choosing an image.

I've been using one of these for 8 months now, and I'm quite satisfied with it. Well worth the $1 price tag. Plus it's held up quite nicely.

It's not "gaming grade", is it?

Considering the site, there is no way it's "gaming grade" especially for that price.

Define "gaming" grade....

I have no issues gaming on it.

I'm sorry, but a "gaming mousepad" is bullshit.

I personally think that the term refers to how durable a mousepad is, and how it feels moving the mouse around (different materials will have different effects on how the mouse moves, for example). If you're playing an fps vs just casually browsing, I imagine the wear on the mousepad would be important. I have no issue gaming without a mousepad, and personally haven't for a long time.. anyways, the term is probably marketing BS, however it could have some truth to it.

(note, as a marketing term, that's why I said at that price, it probably isn't. when marketing terms are thrown around, the price generally is higher anyways, and because the site is based around photos, for gifts to family.)

I don't deny that there are different types of surfaces -- hard/soft for example, and that no question will affect things. However, I wouldn't say one is better for gaming.

a very good deal and good quality at the same time.

Last year I was able to buy 2 'pads on the same account for $1 each. I may have had a different IP because it was a different day but you should be able to get multiple.

I've only ordered 1 so far this sale so I can't confirm if that's still the case.
