Trouble with boot. Please Help ;(

Go to solution Solved by L.E.D,

Yes and I think that would be the best thing to do in this situation. Thank you guys for your time, help and suggestions. I will try another motherboard and see how it will work.

No problem, it does suck that it came to that but it does happen sometimes

Hi again, I sended my motherboard to gigabyte for a replacement. They had checked it and send back the same one saying there is nothing wrong with it because they have tested it. I don't have a clue what to do now and what is the faulty part. :(

That is fine. I have changed memory because I thought that is the problem but it did not help. I also replaced psu but it din't help ither. I tried all different conponents apart fron cpu. I can't afford second cpu to check and I dont know anyone who use lga 1155 socket unfortunatelly. I used gtx 295, gtx 480, gtx 560 ti and gtx 660 and I still had the same problem. Also tried some very old gpu's.

Yeah, either Gigabyte didn't want to give you another motherboard or the CPU is standing on its last legs, CPU's do die but it isn't very often that they do, unless someone else can chime in and has more ideas I am out of them, sorry man.

Like I said some time before, I had seen my cpu running very hot at about 80-99 Celsius (not overclocked, stock cooler, just running windows) The whole problem started when my old psu died. Could that damage CPU or motherboard?

Yes that can... it could have shorted out some components and in this case the CPU took the brunt...

Than you for your time sir :)

No problem, I hope you can get this fixed, from what I heard you have spent quite a chunk of cash to no avail..

Just taking a wacky guess, could it be your power supply that's faulty?

I know it'll take some work (and maybe money) but try using a different power supply and boot your system from that.

He has already tried that.
