Litterally Every Program Crashes

Go to solution Solved by G33k 4 L1F3,

running scan now....

and i have. when ever i try to run said exe to install it. bam it crashes.

Geez, sounds like a deep issue... let me know hoe the scan turns up

This is on my recording harddrive...it has debut. Action! and msi afterburner...thats...it. and now when i boot it up no matter what program it is withen 3 seconds it just crashes and tells me there was a problem with the exe.

only thing i can think of is the harddrive failing e.e any ideas?

take out the HDD

connect it to another PC and test?

also scan for malware using malwarebytes

Hmmm, have you checked your registry for errors? Download CCleaner and run the registry scan, also, are you starting the software from the shortcut, or the file folder it is in? If the latter, try starting the programs via the file its located. C:\etc.

And do run a sfc scan to fixx errors. Open Command Prompt as admin, and type sfc /scannow

Just ran CCleaner. checked almost all options.

Tried starting from regular destination folder. it crashed instantly instead of 3-5 seconds...

There is DEFFINATELY something wrong with the registry.

Just tried to change my resolution because reasons and it keeps crashing my explorer.exe....and then my taskmanager.exe crashed. and crash and crash and crash.

Fck it. im reinstalling windows e.e idk what happened

Run the sfc scan I mentioned above in my post. I edited it to keep from doublepost

Btw, have you simply tried to reinstall the programs to see if it fixes the program?

I would just let sfc do its thing, its checking for any OS system file corruptions and i stabilities, then fixes them if it can. Be sure to restart your PC if it doesnt prompt you to after its done.

Because its windows... it just happens...

When you shut down your PC, do you hold the power button, or via the OS

A straight power button hold can corrupt system files.

Sorry I couldnt help you :(
