Hello Guy,

it would be nice if some of you could tell me if the temps of my cpu are ok/good or whatever.

Just from the datasheet the temps seem to be allright for my "nooby" eye. But i would like to have some other opinions or maybe even comparisons from other users.

I m using an I7 4790k with 4,4Ghz at all 4 cores with a Voltage of 1.28V with an Dark rock 3 for cooling.

My Temps are after running Prime 26.6 for ~30min around 70°/ 158F as an average Value for all 4 Cores.

Power Consumtion is 82W.

Im Using HWMonitor for the reading of the temps.

Im thankefull for all infos.

On paper should be fine. load and less than 80C should be ok. But personally, I never like my cpu temp while load to be more than 70C. I always keep it under 60s. Just me.

Voltage:     min           max

VID           0,765        1,225

Temp:

Average    30             75

Power        6.04          97,5

Ghz           800Mhz     4,53Ghz    @ all cores

I used "Intel extreme tuning utility " and got the above values after using stresstest for 15min and after that a benchmark.

I'm currently running (AIDA64) 4790k at 4.2 Ghz at 1.15V with max temperature of 61-63C across all 4 cores using Kraken X61.

During GTA 5 session, it only goes up to maybe 52C-ish.

Thx for the reply. Your values seem to be like mine if i use 4.2 and not 4.4 on all cores.

You might have to juice your core to around 1.248 or so, I found that with my chip anything below 1.24 caused heavy stuttering on my CPU

but it may be because I'm also using the gpu in the chip for quick sync.

Also what's your ambient room temp?

room temp should be around 20-22.      I had no problems with stuttering but i dont use the chip gpu.
