Mini Pci Wifi Adaptor Help?

I have that card. It needs antennas. You could build them into the case or drill holes

I'm planning on getting the Asus H97I-Plus for a upcoming ITX build. My question is it has a mini Pci port & I want to put a Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 Network Adapter inside it, but does it require any external antenna or can it pick up wifi on its own? Because the back i/o shield doesn't support external antennas.
