Wut? Do you know who even Seasonic is?.

There are PSU brands and actual PSU manufacturers, the guys building the actual internal components, not slapping a fan into the thing, giving it a case and a name. The two highest quality OEMs out there are Seasonic and Superflower, they trade blows quite a bit, but still Seasonic is the bigger guy. EVGA PSUs are Superflower units.

Yeah, but for later on it would be easier to upgrade with another 16g of ram to make it 32g.

true..but I can't imagine needed 32gb of ram for gaming...

until 8k gaming comes around..16 will basically be the max needed

you have 8 dimms and unless you want to upgrade to 64g in the future, it would be better to grab a 4x4 kit for quad-channel stuff.

Thanks, I didn't think about that, and seasonic is one of the best psu's?

The fanboys in this thread are real...

However, GENERALLY, Seasonic power supplies are higher quality, that comes at a price premium however.

The 1000w option of EVGA is ~169.99, and the "1000" (1050) watt option for Seasonic is around ~190. (They have a platinum 1000w but its like 200+).

I would pick up the EVGA one because its cheaper.

Seems like seasonic is really famous overseas. But in my country (Singapore), not sure why but I think seasonic hate my country. The RMA rate is 60% here (out of 10 psu 6 is faulty) ...

No corsair is

with my experience of 1 power supply, I can't recommend any medium tier products from Corsair. I can hear it whining from my office at my bedroom. (The high end AX line is probably fine though)
