1. Tighten it down a bit more

2. Turbo Boost.

3. You can do a stability test if you want. AIDA64.

does it not supposed to be boosted if the cpu is in load ?

It's normal, if your CPU is being used it'll boost itself (if necessary).

i put the testr on the case and again the red led turn on ! what to do ???

Calm down with the font there.

You might have overtightened the screws--just loosen them a bit.

My hyper 212 moves a bit. I think they all do. Do not overtighten the screws because you will damage components.

The i7 4790 runs at 4.0ghz normal and turbos up to 4.4ghz under load. You won't see it throttling up and down until you're in windows and using something like cpuz to watch it.

That's the k version, which op may have, but he claims to have the non k SKU.

That's true, but either way the chip running at 4.0GHz stock shouldn't be a surprise.

1) 212X uses mounting that has hinge in the middle that makes it to move around. Completely fine if temps are fine. Thermal paste is designed to stay moist. If it would dry, you need to change it.

3) whatever you like. If it boots to BIOS, its good to go.

Every 212 I've used has had some horizontal play when installed correctly, just how it mounts.

2. i go to the bios and saw that the core clock is 4ghz and i have 4790 (regular) why it it so high ?

It's not high. Those are stock settings for max turbo frequency. You bought a good CPU, shouldn't be a surprise. :D

If you're doing a fresh install

1. Install Windows (or whatever OS)

2. Install chipset drivers first, then SATA/Intel Rapid Start Technology, USB, then LAN.

3. Activate Windows and update fully.

4. Then run your benchmarks.
