Bad Performance on GTA V

Go to solution Solved by ADZ_123_!"£,

Ok thanks, could i upgrade my mb and use a second 7750, my friend has one he doesnt use i could get rly cheap?

For you I think that getting a second GPU in xfire and upgrading your cpu will see a dramtic performance increase.

That's a bit of an unimpressive rig. I'm not really surprised. I run with a R9 270 and a 8320 and get like 30 - 50 FPS on the lowest settings.

I'm a fucking AMD kawaii weeaboo desu I have seen the light

Yeah, but that's an unbalanced and not very well put together rig (unless bought around a year ago)

Do you think an i3 would be ok what gpu?

Yes an I3 would be good but I would recommend changing to an I5.

PS when you are playing GTA V to get a better frame rate turn down the Extended Distance Scaling it will dramatically increase fps.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

The minimum requirements state a Quad core, which I highly agree with. I am running a 12 thread i7 and I'm seeing a 25-30% usage on all threads while playing GTA V. I would assume an i3 would meet the minimum requirements since it has 4 threads however I personally would rather get the cheapest i5. For the Graphics card I would recommend a 750 ti or whatever AMD's offering is (260x/270???) then you should be able to play the game at decent settings with an acceptable frame rate.
