So some of the tubes are suppose to be bend at the end?

My guess is that it has to do with how they manufacture the heat pipes.

What a relief!!! But just to make sure... how can i tell if it's starting to fail? Keep checking temps well gmaing with Specy?

The manufacturing process causes those crimps at the end of the heatpipes. It's a relatively simple device, so I guess if temps go out of hand it's failing, but it's most likely the fan that will fail, if ever.

Do you know this for sure? And what is good software to monitor temps? Preferably have the options to have it overlay my game.

It's fine it won't do anything...as long as the pipes on the bottom aren't damaged its fine.

Yep, when the copper is sealed, one end of the pipe shrivels in while the other is crimped. That is why half look like a crayon head and the others look smashed
