Some question about 1000euro pc build (i5 4690k,r9 290x)

lol1290

So I am trying to build the best PC for the budget (1000euro) and I have some questions about it.

First the PC parts:

CPU- i5 4690k

GPU- asus radeon r9 290x DirectCU II OC

MOTHERBOAD- ASRock Z97 Pro4

CPU COOLER- Hyper 212 evo

RAM- Crucial ballistix sport 8gb 1600mhz

CASE- Corsair 200r

HDD- WD blue 1tb

SSD- ADATA premier pro SP900 128gb

PSU- Cooler Master G650M Modular 80+ Bronze

-I will be using this build mostly for school and some for gaming.

-I have all peripherals.

-Currently the price of this parts is 1006euro (i would like to keep it close to the budget)

-!IMPORTANT! I will be ordering parts from a german site http://mindfactory.de, because I live in Europe (as you may know the prices here are much higher than in US)

1. Are all the parts compatible?

2. Can I overclock the CPU on that motherboard?

3. What FPS will I get on like Far Cry 4, Battlefield 4 on ultra?

4. Are the GPU and the CPU 100% compatible (will there be any bottlenecks)?

5. Will everything fit into corsair 200r?

6. Is that a good motherboard for its value?

7. Any recommendations?

Thx for helping! :)

I will start of by saying that I am not completely sure on the intel stuff and most of this is just theoretical.

1. I think so.

2. I think so.

3. 60+ fps.

4. Yes, they are compatible. No there are no bottlenecks.

5. I think so.

6. I think so.

7. If you can get the 970 I would get that one (because of newer technology).

Other than this I don't think of anything to change.

It's a really good build.

Well for a 1000euros I need a little more than just ''i think so'' answers, but I really appreciate the reply,

I can't get the 970 because its too expensive

But I wrote ASUS r9 290x (i should add the DirectCU II OC),

the one you suggested is from Gainward, which I never heard of...so I dont know if I can trust it and its too much expensive.

The performance different is not that much and the extra V-ram will help if you ever play on 1440p or higher.

A 290x is really good too.

Since I wasn't sure I thought I shouldn't act like it.

But with I think so it means I am like 70% or more % sure.

Those who know more will be able to say what I said is right and wrong.

If you make the build on pcpartpicker.com you can see if it is all compatible or not. But it will take a little bit of time (about 5 minutes).

So you have that option.

The 290X and GTX 970 both have the same amount of VRam.

"3.5 GBs on the 970, 4GBs on the 290x get your math right. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)" @SkywardKkalox

I couldn't had said it better myself..

Ok, I will put all the parts on PCpartpicker, I might re-post this post, so that I will get more info from other users (older it is, less people read it and reply to it).
