So, I've been having a string of troubles with my laptop (lenovo y50-70) running windows 8.1.

It began when i got a notification from windows that told me to restart windows and let it check my c drive for problems, so I was like "sure, no problem", I've had that before on my other pc. I reboot windows and it started thr checking and repairing. After it did that, it restarten and did it again. After that was finished, I began getting bluescreens and was unable to boot back into windows. I used the refresh option to try to restore windows without losing files.

After that, i was able to boot back into widows and managed to reinstal most crucial drivers and programs, but today, I started noticing problems:

In the modern ui  app things (which I dont use (classic start)) A lot of normally preïnstalled apps (like weather, mail, games, maps...) have a little cross in the bottom right corner an can't be opened, (maybe this is bacause I'm still installing windows updates).

My biggest problem currently however is that I can't open regedit, I've tried it from the start menu, cmd, and from the folder itself. When I double-click it, it just does nothing, it doesn't even pop-up in task manager nor does it give me an error.

Anybody that could help me out?
