So I have two 970's both are from EVGA but the strange thing is one is silver and has different heat pipes and is longer then the other card, both show up as the same card but the thing that bothers me is that I have to run a fix in order to get them to run in SLI and that means I have to run the oldest drivers (kinda blows)... I would like to get the newest drivers for gta 5 but I don't think I'll be able to do that. Any ideas?

One is probably ACX, the other ACX 2.0. The older version of the cooler had an issue (but realistically non-issue) where not all of the heatpipes made thermal contact with the core of the card, but temps were still perfectly fine. I don't see why you would need some sort of fix to run them in SLI though, try contacting EVGA or NVIDIA.

Ah, that's strange. And they're the exact same model number or no?

I'm pretty sure they are, could this just be Newegg messing up?

Sounds like maybe there was some sort of mix up? Could be Newegg's problem.

It took me awhile to find it (partly because I would have preferred that silver line, because that blue makes no sense) but it's ACX 2.0+, more specifically on the FTW+.

For one cooler, there are way too many variations.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

So under the 6-pin connectors it says SSC instead of FTW+?

Correct, I called newegg only to find out the SSC is that way to and the one I got from bestbuy I guess is the odd one xD

Im starting to think it may be the SLI Bridge or I might just do a fresh install of everything.

Yeah, try to do a clean wipe of the old drivers, then a fresh install of the new ones, but try a new SLI bridge first. You should always have at least one laying around.
