Gtx 960 worth?

i mean sure i can play gta5 whit 60 fps on normal whit evrything else turned off at 1080p but that is really stretching it so im looking for cards that would give me 4-6 years of gaming cause i want evrything out of a gpu this 650 has lasted me more than 3 years now maybe even 4 and i bought it for 100€

 

A 970 will definitely last you for the next 6 years. The 960 might have 4 gigs but the processor might hold you back. Imo at least.

A 970 is more worth it. I only got a 960 because I seriously needed a computer and was short of cash. Also gives me a reason to SLI.

But yeah, that 2gigs will hold you back a lot. 3.5GB will be more of a sweet spot. Unless you wanna wait for the 960 4GB version which I think should retail soon.

But yeah, that 2gigs will hold you back a lot. 3.5GB will be more of a sweet spot. Unless you wanna wait for the 960 4GB version which I think should retail soon.

But I'm pretty sure the 960 has a slower bus speed than the 760. Not 100% sure on that though...

Yeah and the 128 Bit bus as well. To me, the 128 doesn't really make much difference. The most I'll do on my pc is C++ compiling and video editing for school and that's all. Of course you can stay with the 960 if you don't do demanding games and such. It's really down to you because it's your Personal Computer.

hmmm for me now its just about getting a new card i have 650 which does not quite stand up these days and has seen better days aka i almost killed it whit OC

Yeah a 650 wouldn't cut it these days. Maybe as a PhysX card tho.
