Lets also note that most games won't work on a Dual core processor. Some are fixed by the 9th patch(there are always 8 the first day).

I made this more for fun, although it's very impractical, and just silly.  If I were ever to do this, I would replace the Pentium with something like the 4790K.

Most? Dude, the "Need 4 cores to even boot" hype thing started with Far Cry 4 and ACU back at launch. Those games aren't that old.

The Pentium is a great chip, but two non-hyperthreaded cores will likely hold you back significantly. If you're listening Intel, an overclockable i3 would be awesome.
