I have right now two tablets. One is a basic Intuos, and the other a previous-gen Intuos4. I have no pen for the 4, but I have for the Intuos. The Intuos4 I got from a sale somewhere, I got it really cheap and took it home hoping it would work. And it does... mostly.

When I plug it in without the driver, it's as right as rain. It detects the pen and tracks with it, clicks, double-clicks, all that stuff. The basic firmware that windows has takes care of everything except pressure level.

However, as soon as I install the driver for it, it stops working. This has happened on every version of the drivers I have installed, and it's really annoying me. I know the tablet works. I know it works perfectly. But the driver is stopping me from using it and I don't know why. I've looked on the internet and found little help. Does anyone here have any experience with this? Is it because of the pen? I doubt it, but I'd like to know if there's anything that can be done to solve the problem. Cheers!
