Flash Drive Problem

I just spent about 2 hours trying to get a flash drive to not be write protected.  I finally got it after doing all kinds of tricks using linux, cmd, and some other stuff

My concern is why the drive reported that 11GB of space was being used...  When I selected all the files they only added up to 3.7GB.

Is this normal?  I hope I didn't delete any important files that were hidden :wacko:.  The drive was formatted in FAT32.
