So I was wondering if I plug a Ethernet cable into a NAS that's connected to my PC through a Switch if I can Access it on my PC.

This should work correct?

Also, if I were to get multiple drives in a raid, could I have 1 set to be a drive for my Consoles (360, and One) while the rest are for my PC?

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

1. yes i believe so

2. i mean, thats not what raid is really, raid "combines" drives.

I meant have 1 not in a raid Array.

Hey niofalpha,

- yes, you should see it and operate with it since it is technically the same network.

- you can configure some of the drives to be in a RAID array and leave the rest as stand-alone drives (that pretty much depends on the NAS if it can do it).
