sometimes my pc doesnt boot

Go to solution Solved by Captain_WD,

sometimes my pc doesnt boot its just black screen but if i turn it off and try again it works. is this anything to be worried about?

Hey sproutickler,

I would check all the cables if they are plugged in correctly and all the way. Also, as the guys mentioned, reset the CMOS by removing the battery for about 5 minutes and put it back again. Also are there any beeping sounds when the computer hangs on the black screen?

Captain_WD.

Clear the CMOS.

how does this work on my mobo, cuz i dont know it either and it would be useful to know.

Do you have the manual ??? go to the CMOS or BIOS section and look for it, or you can remove the battery but I recommend using the jumper.

if that is your board

you can see a button to press

otherwise just remove the battery and install it back after 5 mins
