Squeaking noise

Every so often my computer will make a little squeak and it is rather annoying. Any ideas about what it is?

Sounds an awful lot like coil whine.
What can you do about it, well not much i'm afraid.

No I dont think it is that because it is not on constantly

Well, if it happened only when your PC works hard, it can still be coil whine. You know the sound and your PC best though, so your guess is probably better than mine.

It does it most of the time, Do you reckon that having my PSU fan pushing air directly into the GPU fan could create it

I don't know of any PSU that pushes air... Don't they all pull air out of the case? Anyhow, the GPU or PSU is most likely the culprit dealing with coil whine. I would see if moving th GPU to another slot or flipping the PSU does anything (if it is pushing air into the GPU. Sorry, I just never heard of a PSU pushing air, lol)

I need to get a new GPU soon anyway so I think that will do it

Going back to this it has gotten worse as the HDD has began to fail could it be that?

Probably coil whine, mabye hdd though hdds dont really make high pitched noises.
